Kimberly is a fine art appraiser and art consultant. Based in Seattle, Kimberly is a trained art historian with over 20 years of experience working with museums, private art collections, and galleries. Kimberly has a passion for providing exceptional service to her clients.

After receiving her MA in art history from the University of Oregon, Kimberly went on to earn a PhD from the University of Washington. Her dissertation on American and British art, Sleep, Sickness, and Spirituality: Altered States and Victorian Visions of Femininity in British and American Art, won the University's prestigious Graduate Award of Excellence.

Additionally, she was the recipient of curatorial internships at the National Gallery of Art (DC) as well as the Smithsonian American Art Museum, and has interned at several west coast art museums and galleries, including the Santa Barbara Museum of Art. She has also curated and co-curated exhibitions on both historical and contemporary art, and has published in the American Fine Art Magazine.

Kimberly follows the Appraisers Association of America’s (AAA) strict code of ethics when assisting clients with all aspects of establishing, preserving and bequeathing fine art collections. She is compliant with the Uniform Standards of Professional Appraisal Practice (USPAP). Kimberly is member of ArtTable and is a Board member for Washington Lawyers for the Arts.

Continuing education is a priority for Kimberly. Refining and honing her research skills and connoisseurship are all important to ensuring clients receive the very best service. She regularly attends museum/university lectures and symposiums, takes appraisal courses addressing topical subjects, and makes it a point to keep abreast of current art market trends.
